The 44-year-old Spice Girl was hit with a lawsuit from her former hairstylist and personal assistant Poghos Karen “Gary” Madatyan for wrongful termination, according to paperwork filed on Thursday (September 26). Mel is accused of causing emotional distress, failure to pay overtime and running up $200,000 in debt. According to the complaint, Gary was assigned to service Mel B in all aspects of her life, and was required to move into her apartment building and be on-call 24-hours a day. She reportedly mis-classified his employment status as an independent contractor, paying him $10,000 a month but making him pay $7,000 for his apartment. She also reportedly used his credit card and bank account to buy furniture, televisions, transportation and for parties. DSS spokesperson says the agency is law-abiding. The Department of State Services, (DSS) has explained why the Publisher of Sahara Reporters, Omoyele Sowore is still being detained despite court’s order to release him. According to Punch, the agency said Sowore is still in their custody because they have not received a copy of the court order granting him bail from his legal team The spokesperson of the security agency, Dr. Peter Afunnaya disclosed this on Thursday, September 26, 2019.  Afunnaya said the DSS is a law-abiding agency. He added that the agency has the highest regard for the laws of the land and would not do anything to undermine law and order, Punch reports.  He said, “ We have not received the court order. Liverpool star Salah did not finish in the top three of the ballot, with his nominations from Egypt’s captain and coach not included. Salah appeared to be upset when FIFA’s full list of voting was released without his country’s selections. He reportedly removed a reference to Egypt from his Twitter bio and posted a cryptic message that read: “Whatever they do to try to change my love for Egypt, they will not succeed.” FIFA moved to clarify why those particular votes for Salah were not counted in a statement released to Omnisport on Thursday. The governing body said: “During the monitoring of the votes submitted by the Egyptian Football Association (EFA) on August 15, it was remarked that the signatures on the voting forms were in capital letters and thus seemed not valid (not authentic). The voting forms were also not signed by the general secretary which is mandatory.”
