One of the umbrella bodies of herdsmen in Nigeria, the Miyetti Allah Kautal Hore, has urged security agencies to deal with “terrorists killing” Fulani herders in the South-East. Spokesman for the group, Saleh Alhassan, disclosed this while reacting to the killing of one of the commanders of Indigenous People of Biafra gunned down by security operatives last Saturday. Police operatives and their counterparts from the Nigerian Army and Department of State Services had killed an IPOB leader, one Commander Ikonso and six other militia members in Imo state. The IPOB men, who were members of the secessionist group’s security arm, the Eastern Security Network, were killed during an early morning raid on their hideout at Awomama village, Oru East Local Government Area of the state last week. IPOB has since threatened “madness”, saying the Imo State Governor, Hope Uzodinma, will “pay dearly” for the killing of its commander. Police advised parents and guardians to warn their children against any gathering that may expose them to violence. The Ogun State Police Command has barred the Yoruba Nation rally scheduled to hold in Abeokuta, the state capital on Saturday, May 1, 2021. The state Police Public Relations Officer, Abimbola Oyeyemi made this known in a statement on Thursday, April 29, 2021. The command advised parents and guardians to warn their children against any gathering that may expose them to violence. The statement reads in part: “Consequently, the rally slated for Abeokuta on 1st May, 2021, is viewed by the Command as one too many in the state, and therefore not approved. “Parents and guardians are hereby advised to warn their children and wards not to be involved in any of such gathering that may expose them to violence and consequently bring them on a collision course with the security agencies. Real Salt Lake goalkeeper David Ochoa has been fined for triggering a postgame scuffle against Minnesota United Minnesota United duo Hassani Dotson and Chase Gasper have been fined an undisclosed amount for their part in a postgame skirmish following the team's defeat to Real Salt Lake last weekend, Major League Soccer disciplinary officials said Thursday. Yomi Odunuga, His Special Adviser, Media and Publicity in a statement said Omo-Agege made the submission in Abuja, when he hosted prominent citizens of Oron from Akwa -Ibom. The delegation was led by the paramount ruler of Udung Uko Local Government Area and Ahta of Oron, His Royal Majesty, Odidem Bassey Etim Edet, Eti Oyo Okpo II. Omo-Agege expressed support for the bill to make the Maritime Academy in Oron, Akwa Ibom a degree awarding institution. The bill, sponsored by the lawmaker representing Akwa Ibom South Senatorial District in the National Assembly, Sen. Akon Etim Eyakenyi, is currently before the Senate Committee on Tertiary Institutions and TETFUND for further legislative work. Omo-Agege noted that since Nigeria had one of the longest coastlines in Africa, it was not out of place to have several maritime universities in the area.

There’s a major update in the dognapping of two of Lady Gaga ‘s beloved dogs back in February. You probably remember that Gaga ‘s dogwalker Ryan Fischer was walking the entertainer’s three dogs in Los Angeles on February 24. A car pulled up next to him and two men got out and attacked him. Ryan was shot in the chest and the attackers fleed with two of the dogs while the third dog was able to escape. Gaga announced a $500,000 reward for the safe return of her dogs and days later, the two stolen dogs were brought to a police station after being found in an alley. It was announced on Thursday (April 29) that five people in total were arrested by LAPD and one of the arrests is going to surprise you. Josh Duggar is under arrest. The 33-year-old 19 Kids and Counting and Counting On reality TV star was arrested on Thursday (April 29) in Arkansas, Page Six reported. He was held in federal custody in Washington County, TMZ added, and he’s being held in a detention center without bail according to the report. TMZ also obtained the mug shot , which shows the TV star posing with a smirk on his face. Back in November of 2019, Homeland Security agents came to the car dealership where he works in Arkansas to raid his office in connection to a federal probe. Josh ‘s only known current legal dispute is a civil lawsuit filed against him for real estate fraud. It’s unclear exactly why he’s been arrested or what the charges are, although the reason appears to be more severe.
