He described his new haircut as “horrible” and joked, “I just scared the children, I want to apologize.” Tom is filming in Australia for the upcoming Baz Luhrmann biopic about Elvis . Ogun state government bans waste cart pushers

The Ogun State Government has banned all waste cart pushers operating in the state with immediate effect. The Special Adviser to Governor Dapo Abiodun on Environment and Chief Executive Officer of the Ogun State Waste Management Authority, Ola Oresanya, said that the ban is instituted due the recent security report which indicted waste cart pushers of complicity in crimes across the state. Oresanya declared that any waste cart pusher caught operating henceforth in the state will be arrested, while his cart will be crushed. ‘While operating, our people innocently open their premises and commercial outlets to them for evacuation of their wastes but unknowingly to them, these cart pushers who are mostly foreigners collate vital information on how to compromise the security of their premises and pass them to the men of the underworld and sometimes join them to rob and terrorize our people,’ the governor’s aide said. The Lagos government has revealed that crossover service violators will pay a fine up to N500, 000 when caught. Kemi Filani News recalls that the Federal Government imposed a 12 midnight – 4 am as part of measures to contain the COVID-19 spread. CAN urges adherence to COVID-19 protocol as Makinde approves crossover service

CAN Chairman in Oyo commends Makinde for approving the Thursday crossover night worship. The Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) Oyo State Chapter has advised worshippers in the state to adhere strictly to COVID-19 safety protocol directives by the government on the crossover night service. The state Chairman, CAN, Apostle Joshua Akinyemiju , gave the advise in a statement on Wednesday in Ibadan. Akinyemiju commended the state Gov. Seyi Makinde for giving approval that the Thursday crossover night worship to usher in 2021 be observed in the state. The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) recalls that the State Task Force on COVID-19 had on Tuesday, declared that the state government ruled out crossover services over curfew imposed by the Federal Government. The uptrend was driven by price appreciation in medium and large capitalised stocks. The nation’s bourse extended bullish posture on Wednesday with the market capitalisation increasing further by N214 billion on sustained bargain hunting of blue chips. Specifically. the market capitalisation which opened at N20.446 trillion rose by N214 billion to close at N20.660 trillion supported by interestes in BUA Cement. Also, the All-Share Index appreciated by 402.14 points or 1.03 per cent to close at 39,512.31 from 39,110.17 achieved on Tuesday. Accordingly, month-to-date and year-to-date gain increased to 12.8 per cent and 47.2 per cent, respectively.
