Zelda Williams is about her make her feature directorial debut!
The 29-year-old daughter of the late Robin Williams is set to direct dark thriller AMA (Ask Me Anything).
The film is set to follow a fast-rising entertainment publicist and a music superstar during an online interview session which gets hijacked by a mysterious hacker.
The hacker invades the duo’s privacy, revealing lurid secrets hidden from their past.
“I’m honored that the team at Assemble saw in me the potential to help bring John Wikstrom’s dark Hollywood cautionary tale to the screen. For me, this project encompasses so many of my cinematic loves and I can’t think of a more timely moment for it,” Zelda said in a statement.
Zelda previously directed short film Shrimp, which premiered at the 2018 Tribeca TV Festival.
