Governor Seyi Makinde of Oyo state has claimed that his administration inherited a minimum debt of N150 billion, adding that his administration is still checking the books to determine the actual total debt. Governor Makinde made the claim in a media chat on the state television on the occasion of his one month in office, The Nation reports. It was gathered that the governor threatened to expose his predecessor, Abiola Ajimobi , if he does not keep quiet about his (Makinde’s) administration. He said: “ We have confirmed N150b debt so far. We are still working to discover any other one. Some of them may be questionable. If you take bond, it is always tied to a particular project. If we want, we can do value-for-money audit.” According to Makinde, Oyo state receives N4.5b federal allocation while salaries and pensions stand at N5.5b, leaving the state with a shortage of N1b. Tragedy stuck few days ago in Anambra state when a 20 year old Makoduchukwu Ndubisi, pictured left, stabbed her husband, 35-year-old John Bosco Ngu, to death. According to the Police in the state, the reason for the killing is yet to be established, but the alleged murderer has been arrested and she is presently cooling her feet in police custody. The Adamawa State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board has announced a reduction of N51, 000 from the initial Hajj fare of N1.510 million for the 2019 holy pilgrimage to Saudi Arabia. According to the Denver Post , an 11th American has died after traveling to the Dominican Republic on vacation with his family. Khalid Adkins and his daughter spent some quality time together in the Caribbean paradise last week, but when the woman returned to Denver, her father became very ill. Upon attempting to return to America, a sick Adkins was forced from the airplane and hospitalized in Santo Domingo. Hospital staff told Adkins family that he suffered from kidney failure. Although authorities say they don’t believe any of the deaths of Americans to be connected, it’s a very strange that almost a dozen people have died since June of last year. Rest in peace Khalid Adkins.

This is one of those videos. According to GlobalNews , an RV driver, 40-year-old Eric Belec, in Quebec lost control of his vehicle at a fairly high rate of speed and flew off of a ramp smashing onto a ferry that was pulling away from the dock. Sadly, the driver died of his injuries and another woman is in critical condition fighting for her life. The horrifying video is below. It isn’t graphic in nature, but it is very violent. Rest in peace to the driver.

Jayma Mays and Erinn Hayes are joining the cast of Bill & Ted Face The Music ! The 39-year-old Glee alum and the 43-year-old Childrens Hospital actress will sign on as the spouses of the title characters in the third installment of the film franchise, Deadline reported on Thursday (June 27). Jayma will play Princess Joanna, Bill’s wife, while Erinn will play Ted’s wife, Princess Elizabeth. In the upcoming third movie, the now middle-aged best friends ( Keanu Reeves and Alex Winter ), who have yet to fulfill their rock and roll destiny, set out on a new adventure, when a visitor from the future warns them that only their song can save life as we know it and bring harmony to the universe. Along the way, they will be helped by their daughters, old friends, a new batch of historical figures, and a few music legends. The movie hits theaters on August 21, 2020.
