Shawn Mendes‘s heart still beats for Emma Watson.

During a Q&A with fans in Milwaukee, Wisconsin earlier this week, the 20-year-old “If I Can’t Have You” singer confessed his love for the 29-year-old actress and activist.

“I really just do love Emma Watson still and I’d tell her that,” he told fans when asked about his celeb crush.

A few years ago, Shawn actually confessed his love to Emma on Twitter, tagging her in the caption.

“@EmmaWatson okay. Here it is. I love you,” he wrote.

Jussie Smollett is unlikely to return to Empire during the upcoming sixth season, but he is still showing support for the Fox series. The network just announced that the show has been renewed for a new season , but Jussie ‘s character Jamal will not be in any of the early episodes. His contract has been extended for the possibility of a return in the future. A representative for Jussie released a statement with his reaction to the news.
