Weddings are believed to be one of the happiest days in a woman's life. This can be easily seen in the level of enthusiasm displayed by the bride on her big day. However, this could not be said about a certain Nigerian bride.
Identified as Sarah, photos from her traditional marriage has got social media talking and not for good reasons. In several pictures from the ceremony, she was pictured looking displeased and surrounded by people who were clearly oblivious to her odd disposition.
In some of the photos, it appeared the groom tried to make his woman smile by spraying her with money but it seemed the attempt was futile. This got a lot of people wondering what could have made a bride unhappy on a day that is supposed to her happiest. The photos went viral and eventually got a reaction from the bride.
She took to the Facebook platform to write: "The picture of me frowning on my traditional marriage day just went viral and I'm amazed how people don't make inquires before posting on their blogs and walls. Smh."

While she did not exactly explained the reason for her perceived lack of enthusiasm for her own wedding, it appears the unhappy bride was definitely not unhappy as she released new photos from both their traditional and white wedding with a lovely message as well.

She wrote: "So we decided to start our forever journey at the beginning of 2018 We want to say a big thank you to God for making 20th Jan. 2018 a reality. To some it was too late, while others it was too early but God did it at the right time & in His own time To all our friends and families that came from far and near though the notice was short but still honoured us, we say thank you. To all those we didn't inform I'm on bended knees, we are really sorry (don't worry you will come for dedication) We wanted something small but the love shown was too intense, I'm still shocked by the turnup & massive turn out , God bless y'all and 2018 shall be filled with celebrations in Jesus name.
While we are yet to determine what happened during the traditional wedding, one thing is sure and that is the fact that they are clearly in love with each other and excited to start their forever journey together.
