Thompson (thumb) says he'll play vs. Kings

Golden State Warriors All-Star guard Klay Thompson told ESPN's Chris Haynes that he will return to the lineup for Saturday's game against the Sacramento Kings after missing the past eight games with an injured right thumb.

Thompson had officially been listed as probable for the game.

The 6-foot-7 Thompson has not played since March 11. The Warriors have gone 3-5 in those contests.
