The English dictionary defines a Legend as someone that has an extraordinary accomplishment.

Webster dictionary of English defines the terminology “legend “as a person or thing that is very famous for having special qualities or abilities.

Music lovers have over the years expressed many opinions as to the validity and appropriateness of the terminology “Legend” being indiscriminately conferred on some recording artistes in the Nigerian music industry.

Though many critics says most of the acts conferred with the legendary tittle does not really deserve it.

As far as the Nigerian music industry is concerned, personally, I would mention only 2face, Dbanj, and Psquare as the only Legends still alive in the  NigerianIndustry.

Looking at the cognizance of their music, years and success rate in the Nigerian music industry and tell me which of the acts listed above you will regard as a LEGEND.
