Coldplay reveals they had a Great time with Femi Kuti & his Band

International powerhouse Coldplay collaborated with afrobeat legend Femi Kuti on the track titled, “Arabesque,” off the “Everyday Life” EP, and they recently performed the song live.

Femi Kuti and his band visited Coldplay, and from the looks of it, they all had an amazing and productive time together.

The track “Arabesque” is the co-lead single to the album, and it was released on October 24. It features vocals by Belgian singer Stromae and horn sections by Femi Kuti and his band. Arabesque features the three generations of the Anikulapo-Kuti family: Fela Kuti, Femi Kuti and his son, Made Kuti who delivered an impeccable Afrobeat score to the track.

Expressing how pleasant their week was with Femi Kuti and his band, Coldplay shared a group photo on Instagram with the caption: “It’s been a great honour playing with Femi Kuti and his band over the last week or so – we are going to miss all these guys! GB (@guyberryman) @femiakuti @madekuti”.
