'Amazing Race' Production Halted Due to Coronavirus Fears

CBS is putting a hold on The Amazing Race.

The network confirmed that production has been halted on the current season of the long-running reality TV competition series on Friday (February 28).

CBS said that production was halted out of “an abundance of caution,” and no one at the show is at risk. No cast or crew member has been exposed to the virus, either.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, three episodes were filmed before production shut down.

If you didn’t know, plenty of festivals and concerts have also been postponed or canceled due to the virus – and one major summer event might be canceled, too.
