Joey King Attached to Star in 'The Princess,' a New Movie for Hulu!

Joey King is attached to star in an upcoming movie titled The Princess, which has been acquired by 20th Century Studios and will be made as a film for Hulu.

Not much is known yet about the plot of the movie, but it’s being described as “Rapunzel meets The Raid,” according to Deadline. You might be unfamiliar with The Raid, which is a 2011 Indonesian action-thriller that follows an elite squad that infiltrates a high-rise building run by a ruthless drug lord.

The script was written by Ben Lustig and Jake Thornton, who will be serve as co-producers. Joey is attached as an executive producer and the movie will be produced by Neal H. Mortiz, Toby Jaffe, and Derek Kolstad.

Joey is about to begin work on Bullet Tran opposite Brad Pitt and she’ll be playing an assassin in that movie!
