Kanye West Says His Album 'Donda' Was Released Without His Approval

Kanye West is unhappy with the release of Donda.

The 44-year-old superstar posted a short message on his Instagram on Sunday (August 29), the same day as his album hit streaming services.

“Universal put my album out without my approval and they blocked ‘Jail 2′ from being on the album,” he wrote on his Instagram.

This would not be the first time that Kanye was up against his record labels – he previously said he wouldn’t release music again until he was released from his contract last year.

Some of his closest collaborators and friends have been sharing their support of the album, including ex Kim Kardashian – whose form of support raised a few eyebrows. Find out why.

Jussie Smollett is unlikely to return to Empire during the upcoming sixth season, but he is still showing support for the Fox series. The network just announced that the show has been renewed for a new season , but Jussie ‘s character Jamal will not be in any of the early episodes. His contract has been extended for the possibility of a return in the future. A representative for Jussie released a statement with his reaction to the news.
